Q & A WITH the French Dr. Quinn Fan Club
In early 2004 Chad sat down and
answered some questions for the French Dr. Quinn Fan Club's Newsletter.
Those questions and answers are shown below with their permission.
1/
What is your favourite memory of DR. QUINN?
I really
enjoyed the show a lot. I have great memories of riding horses with Joe
and lunchtime hanging out with Jane. I miss my little brother and sister a
lot…I wish we would do it again to be honest.
2/ Which episode meant the most or which scene to you?
I LOVED the
episode in which my fiancée died…..I got such an amazing response from
people to whom that show meant a lot.
3/ 1998: When CBS decided to stop DR. QUINN, what was your
reaction?
I was
surprised. I think we all were. It was a disappointment but we all went on
to the next thing and have remained in pretty good touch.
4/ Thereafter, the fans of the series protest and obtain
two telefilms: Revolutions, The Heart Within, why didn't play in these
two movies?
To be
honest I did not like that they were being shot in Canada, away from our
home for so many years and away from the crew that made our show great. I
was disappointed that CBS was not willing to make the movies with as much
quality as the show was made.
5/ Today which are the actors of the series which you
always see?
I remain in
very good touch with Jane. We are still like family.
6/ If one day CBS decided to do DR. QUINN, 20 YEARS LATER,
would be take you part?
Yes, and I
think someone should suggest that….it would be a blast and probably still
a very good show….
7/ Let us speak now about your career, you have done much
of theatre since Dr. Quinn, Do have a preference between the cinema and
the theatre?
I have
always preferred the stage, it IS life happening before your eyes and it
cannot be matched. I have also done several films in the past few years,
which are going to be released later this year, and have launched a new
film prod. Company that is doing incredibly well so far.
8/ What are your professional projects for 2004?
I am heading to Panama
next week to shoot a film called
"Walk
His Trail." [Webmaster's
Note: Now called "End of the Spear"]
It is a true story about Christian missionaries in Equador and promises to
be a great project and a lot of fun. It’s a pretty big film and will take
a bit to put together but I would imagine it should be out next year.
I am also
producing and starring in another film called, SAVE ME which we will shoot
this summer and have both a TV film and potentially a new show in the
works.
9/
Finally what would like to say itself all to your fans?
You fans amaze me with your loyalty, your energy and your
continued support. It means the world to me that our show means so much to
you. Thank you for your interest and your constant gratitude. I hope I can
bring you lots of great things in the future. |
