HE MADE IT!!!

Got a phone message from Chad. He made it. He rode every mile. Was very touched by everyone's support along the way. He was the second highest fundraiser for the LA riders. Believe it or not, as he left the message Sunday he was about to leave to go ride his bike again in L. A.'s Gay Pride Parade on behalf of the L. A. Gay & Lesbian Center and the Ride.

WE DID IT!!!!!!!!!!

Just got off the phone to give Chad the news.

He said to tell everyone how very touched and moved he is by your generosity. He is amazed by the support from all of his fans and will be carried by that support as he makes his 585 mile journey.

He also informed me that he was the second highest fundraiser for the event!

From June 4-10, 2006, I'm bicycling in AIDS/LifeCycle. It's a 7-day, 585-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to make a world of difference in the lives of people living with HIV and AIDS.

For those of you who know me, you know there are days when I can barely walk up stairs due to my achy knees, let alone ride a bike down the entire coast of California. To make it happen I'm going to have to train hard and I'm going to need the support of each and everyone of you along the way.

So PLEASE, join TEAM LAZZARI today. Give what you can and check here often for training updates.

The name of everyone of you will be embossed on a t-shirt that I will wear as I ride. Your voices and your dollars will keep me peddling through the pain and together, we can get one peddle stroke closer to the end of AIDS.
