Chad, this letter is long time in coming. I have been a fan of yours since Our House. I too am alternative lifestyle male, being bi sexual and your were even back then my role model. I did everything to be like you:) Hair clothes everything. My room had all the pin ups in it. People thought me as weird, but I did not care. I was at the time in Drama in High school and you were the reason that I got into acting in the first place. David Witherspoon was my idol.

Hey you, how's it going? I was sitting down with my three daughters today watching VH1, when "50 cutest child stars" came on. There you were. I believe they said "if you were a girl of the 80's, then for sure you had a poster of our next star on your wall's" Sure enough, when they said who the next star was, it was you. And again, sure enough, I had you all over my wall's in the 80's, and I believe the early 90's as well. I loved watching you and reading about you. It was not until today though, that I found out about your lifestyle. I have got to say BIG UP's to you my friend. When it showed a clip of you speaking in the more recent past, they asked you How your coming out affected your career. You replied that it might have hurt it some, but that you didn't care. Thank goodness there is someone out there who is more interested in pleasing themselves, then the damn media. I myself am a very diverse woman, some people call it gay, some people call it Bi, but whatever they call it has no affect on me. I am who I am

"Shock to the System" has a real message. I have been out for 35 years. I serviced in the military after I came out. I have heard the hate a lot of our society spewed even from my own parents. I can understand gays wanting to "change" so they won't be the brunt of this
hatred. However, organizations that pray on gay people need to be exposed.
Please continue to tell these stories.

I became a fan of yours mostly through your role in Dr. Quinn, although I've enjoyed your characters in movies also.
I was in my upper twenties and married for 5 years when I finally admitted to myself who I was. Admitting it to others, especially my former wife, was no easy task. I too had received 12 years of wonderful education in Catholic schools.
After reading your comments in ADVOCATE, my respect for you is even greater.
Your work on behalf of younger people is wonderful. When it comes to vulnerability, most of us remain children. Those, like myself, who come out later in life can benefit from your experience also. Thank you so much for your willingness to share. I'm certain you've made a difference in many lives!
Now, to embarrass myself by asking a really weird question that has to do with an episode of Dr. Quinn. I tend to notice details, and have been wondering something about an episode where it was learned that Olive had died and the cast was traveling by wagon. During the episode, Brian gets stung by a
scorpion which Matthew (Chad) then crushes under his foot.
The camera showed the scorpion crawling by your boot, then you're shown stomping. But when you lift your foot up, the
scorpion looks plastic. Did you really kill it, or was it replaced by a toy? I know this probably sounds retarded, but that's how my mind works sometimes.

Dear Chad,
I'm a huge fan of yours I am also loving the movie you were in what matters most
I'm sorta a cowgirl I just am afraid of horses I love animals I have one dog a
miniature schuazauer she gets very
muddy at points and she is nine years old. I also adopted two regular cats from petsmart in
Texarkana Texas I also have two mules known as donkeys there names are Jack and
Jill my dogs name is sassy and my cats names are Jim and Jam and I also have a
German shepherd bubba he is so funny at points he wines waiting some one to play with like my dad
mostly and he loves to chew on his treats. ok I'm quitting talking about my animals what kind do you have. i have tried every
celebrity person there is and nobody responds I know they have fans but at
least a response. I was wondering could you email me i have trouble sometimes with it might take me while but ill respond back. and this might be the right place to write this but your my
favorite actor i heard you were a twin wow. there is twin genetics that runs in my family.
also i got to know do you have any idea when the strike on the movies will go off i heard that it would be awhile.
