Back in the Summer of 2002 Chad Allen
Online got an email from Donna Barnhill, who is a big fan of Chad and who
just happens to work in the White House. She invited Chad and I to come
anytime we wanted and take a tour of the West Wing. After much planning
Chad and I were finally able to schedule a visit for Saturday October
26th.
In the meantime while planning the visit I
received an email from Tommy. Tommy was (and still is) a big fan of Chad's
back in the Our House days and corresponded with Chad by writing
fan letters, including special letters when Tommy was having some
difficult times. To thank Chad he mailed Chad a friendship bracelet never
really expecting Chad would really see it.

Well Chad not only
saw the bracelet but wore it for a teen mag photo shoot and in the show
Air Wolf that he guest starred in. Well I invited Tommy to meet us in
Washington since he doesn't live that far away and he and Chad finally got
to meet face to face.
Once we got to the White House Chad, a friend of Chad's
and I were greeted by Donna who couldn't have been more gracious. She gave
us a delightful tour of the West Wing including the Oval Office, the
Cabinet Room and the Press Room. At the end of the tour we sat in the
Press Room and chatted a while. It was a great day! Thank you again so
much Donna!
