This morning the NY Times published an article that detailed the current presidents decision to time the launch of his reelection campaign at the Republican convention in New York to coincide with ceremonies recognizing the second anniversary of the September 11th attacks. I am outraged, scared, and more convinced than ever that we must do everything in our power to find an alternative to the current leadership.

In addition, by refusing to reprimand Senator Santorum for his horrific remarks comparing Homosexuality to bigamy, sodomy, and incest the Republican party has made it startlingly clear that they are prepared to sacrifice one segment of Americans in their relentless quest for power in the United States Government. This makes me sick.
If you don't know what I'm talking about please take a moment to read Howard Dean's response to the senator's remarks and I think you may understand why I believe lines have been drawn in a war for America's heart and soul. Will we be the country that takes its constitutional promise to treat all its citizens equally seriously, or we will back down when having true courage is inconvenient?
I urge you to support the effort to beat George Bush in 2002 in any way you choose. I am supporting Howard Dean for President.
