Mincaye's
spear-killed Nate Saint many years ago. In 1956, Nate,
the father of Steve Saints -- the man you see me hiking
with above -- was a missionary, and he and four friends
attempted to make contact with the Waodani, now known
to be the most violent society to have ever existed.
