show only recorded 4 episode before it was taken off the air. The movie

Synopsis:
This short-lived series focused on loner/Vietnam veteran David Dalton, who
set about the country righting all the wrongs he came upon. The character
was originally seen in two TV movies, telecast in June 1985 and May 1986.
The first movie was cut into two parts and rerun as two episodes of the
shows' four-episode run in the summer of 1986. This was the last time
viewers ever saw David Dalton.
