The Story

However, it’s becoming more and more difficult for Mitchell and Alex to deny their true selves because of their evolving feelings for each other. Diane desperately tries to convince Mitchell what damage their relationship would do his career, and Ellen clings to Alex because he is a solid presence during an emotionally vulnerable time in her life. Despite the protests of others, Alex and Mitchell begin to grasp what true happiness is when they’re together. But in a town where artificiality rules, true happiness isn’t always convenient.

Who’s Who?

Diane: A strong-minded gay Hollywood agent who is determined to keep her movie star client’s homosexuality a secret

Mitchell: Hollywood star client of Diane’s who has refused to be honest with himself about his sexuality, that is, until he meets Alex

Alex: A male prostitute to gay men who is sexually confused and has a girlfriend

Ellen: Alex’s depressed girlfriend who clings to him because of bad luck in other parts of her life.
