Babylon Bab-y-lon noun
1. A city or place of great luxury,
sensuality and often vice and corruption
2. A place of captivity or exile
Close your eyes. Now take a moment and
imagine yourself at Penn Station, New York City, New York. It's morning
rush hour, and thousands upon thousands of commuters scurry through the
underground caverns that lie beneath 34th Street and Seventh Avenue on
their way to work in the Big Apple. They're like rats, and thank whatever
power that be that you're not one of them.
Rather, you're heading out of the City to
Fire Island. You check the Long Island Railroad for the east bound train
that will take you to Sayville, Long Island, where the ferry awaits to
transport you across the Great Bay to your final destination, The Pines.
But wait, on the schedule there is an asterisk next to the Sayville train.
Quickly, you look at the bottom of the schedule and find this bit of
information
